International Study Group for Systems Biology - 2010

The 14th workshop of ISGSB was held in Vladimir (Russia) from 6th to 10th of September, 2010. ICMPh was the main organizer of this meeting; and the head of  the mathematical modeling department Ya.R. Nartsissov was its chairman. "Modern Trends in System Biology. Virtual modeling and Regulation" became a main topic of the workshop.
There were nine different themes of presentations:
  • Fundamental problems of System Biology;
  • Regulation and control in metabolic networks;
  • System Biology and regulatory aspects of gene expression;
  • Virtual modeling of living systems;
  • Modeling of glycolysis and its regulation;
  • Receptors and transporters of neurotransmitters. Modeling and application;
  • Experimental model as a tool for research in system biology;
  • Application of system biology approach to description of ATP synthesis and anabolic processes.
